We collect only what we need:

• Details you give us: your name, email address, company, role and anything you tell us about your project when you email us or book a call.
• Booking details: when you book an intro call, our booking provider (Cal.com) collects your name, email address, time zone, meeting details and any answers you give, and shares them with us.
• Technical information: standard server and network data, such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages requested, referring page and time of visit, recorded by the infrastructure that serves the Website.
• Preferences on your device: the Website saves your light or dark theme choice in your browser's local storage.

We do not ask for sensitive information, such as health details or financial account numbers. Please do not send it to us.

We use personal information to:

• respond to your enquiry, and arrange, hold and follow up intro calls;
• understand your needs and assess whether and how we could help;
• run, secure and improve the Website; and
• meet our legal obligations and handle disputes.

We do not sell personal information. We do not send marketing emails unless you have asked for them or the law otherwise permits it, and every marketing message will let you unsubscribe.

We share personal information only where needed for the purposes above, with:

• service providers that help us run the business, including Cal.com for booking and our email, website hosting and infrastructure providers;
• professional advisers, such as accountants and lawyers; and
• government or law enforcement bodies, when the law requires or permits it.

We choose providers with care and share only what they need to do their job.

Some of our providers, including Cal.com, store or process information outside Australia, so your personal information may be sent to or accessed from other countries. By booking a call or contacting us you understand this. We take reasonable steps to choose providers that protect personal information appropriately.

The Website does not use advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not run analytics that follow you across sites. It saves only your theme preference. Sites you reach from the Website, such as Cal.com, LinkedIn and CramClass, may set their own cookies under their own policies.

We use AI tools to deliver client projects. Where a project involves personal information, we agree with the client in writing which AI providers are used and what data they receive before work starts.

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a data breach is likely to result in serious harm, we will notify the people affected and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner as the law requires.

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes above or the law requires. When we no longer need it, we delete or de-identify it.

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email us at hello@vargos.ai. We may need to confirm your identity, and we will respond within a reasonable time, usually within 30 days. If we cannot give you access or make a change, we will explain why, as far as the law allows.

If you have a privacy concern, email us with the details and we will investigate and reply. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.

The Website is for businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always on this page, with the date it was last updated.
